Senior Data Engineer – Data Modeling Focus (Clinical Oncology Analytics Pro

This is not an internal BI stack. We’re building RayIntelligence, an oncology analytics system deployed to radiotherapy clinics worldwide, supporting population‑level analysis, clinical research, and workflow improvement.

The core challenge here isn’t tools — it’s balancing stability and flexibility:

• Data must be stable, traceable, and reproducible for quality and regulatory standards
• At the same time, it must remain adaptable as analytics and ML use cases evolve

You’ll work hands‑on with both data modeling and data pipelines, while helping raise the team’s modeling maturity through strong SQL‑centric design and technical discussions — without owning the platform or being “the single expert.”

In practice, the role involves working with:

• Relational databases and CDC‑based ingestion patterns
• SQL‑centric data transformation using dbt
• Analytics and visualization using Apache Superset

Relevant experience includes:

• Data modeling and data warehousing for analytics and compliance
• Building and maintaining production data pipelines (SQL + Python)
• Reasoning about data change and long‑term impact
