Morsera Technologies is a Stockholm-based company focused on Microelectronics, Semiconductors, and Embedded Systems. We support diverse customers in Telecommunications, Defence, Energy, AI, and Datacenter applications.
We are currently hiring embedded engineers who have a strong interest in embedded systems, firmware, and software integration. 
This role offers the opportunity to work across both hardware and software development, building a foundation in embedded C/C++, python scripting, and modern software workflows.
In This Role, You Will:
- Design, develop, and implement embedded firmware in C/C++ for microcontrollers, SoCs, and real-time systems.
- Develop Python-based scripts and automation tools for testing, data handling, and validation of embedded systems.
- Contribute to CI/CD workflows by managing source control with Git and integrating build, test, and deployment pipelines.
- Work closely with senior engineers to debug, integrate, and optimise firmware, device drivers, and board-level designs.
- Support hardware bring-up activities, including working with FPGA, PCB prototypes, and hardware interfaces such as SPI, I²C, UART, and GPIO.
- Participate in code reviews, documentation, and design discussions, ensuring reliable and maintainable embedded solutions.
- Perform system-level testing, validation, and troubleshooting using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, or HIL setups.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in embedded systems design, firmware development, or system integration.
- Strong programming skills in C/C++, with experience developing firmware for RTOS or bare-metal environments.
- Understanding of microcontrollers, peripherals, and electronic circuits and exposure to hardware prototyping.
- Strong collaborative mindset and good debugging and problem solving abilities, with a structured and analytical approach.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Git, build systems (Make, CMake), and CI/CD principles.
- Knowledge of communication protocols like CAN, LIN, Ethernet, PCIe, or ARM-AMBA.
- Experience using test automation frameworks, HIL/SIL setups, or Vector tools (CANoe, CANalyzer).
- Familiarity with dSPACE systems or similar environments is a plus.
