About the Role: Join a leading Data Management team driving the organization’s Data Governance and Data Management initiatives. The team plays a pivotal role in developing processes, methods, and tools that ensure high-quality, trusted data supported by clear ownership is readily available for reporting, digital solutions, automation, and AI-driven analytics .We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in DBT, Databricks, and data Lakehouse architectures to contribute to one of the data teams within Network Operations or Asset Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the design and architecture of data products.
  • Develop and optimize data pipelines using DBT and Databricks (including potential streaming data via Kafka).
  • Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, analysts, and application teams to deliver reliable and scalable data products.
  • Implement data governance, testing, and CI/CD best practices to ensure data integrity and operational excellence.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and modern data transformation frameworks such as DBT.
  • Expertise in Databricks (Spark, Unity Catalog).
  • Strong understanding of data lake and data Lakehouse concepts (e.g., Parquet, Iceberg, Delta Lake).
  • Experience with Git (preferably GitLab).
  • Fluent in Swedish (spoken and written) and comfortable communicating in English.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to work effectively across disciplines.
  • Experience with Kafka is a strong plus.
