Drive the Future of Vehicle Data at Scania

Are you a visionary leader with a passion for data-driven development and cross-functional collaboration? Do you thrive in complex environments where integrity, agility, and stakeholder engagement are key? We are now looking for a dedicated Product Owner to lead the evolution of PII (Product Instance Information) – Scania’s central database for built vehicle data across the TRATON Group.

About the role

As Product Owner for PII, you will be at the heart of Scania’s digital transformation, enabling seamless data access and integration across brands, systems, and user interfaces. You will lead a team of Business Analysts and collaborate to ensure delivery excellence and alignment with business needs.

You will also be responsible for SPII, the user interface for PII, used globally by our service market network to visualize product data and lifecycle updates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own and drive the product roadmap for PII and SPII
• Lead and coach a team of Business Analysts to translate business needs into actionable development items
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring strategic alignment and technical feasibility
• Oversee system integrations consuming data from PII, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support globalization efforts, including onboarding of other TRATON brands
• Support the transformation towards a flow-based architecture for agile and efficient development

Challenges ahead

• Leading the global rollout of PII across TRATON brands
• Managing a complex integration landscape with multiple consuming systems
• Driving the transition to flow-based development and aligning with enterprise architecture
• Ensuring SPII remains intuitive, performant, and aligned with user needs

Who you are

We are looking for a leader with high integrity and excellent collaboration skills. You are comfortable navigating a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and initiatives. You communicate clearly at both strategic and detailed levels and build trust across teams.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in product ownership, preferably within data platforms or enterprise systems
• Skilled in leading cross-functional teams and external development partners
• Strong understanding of data integration, system architecture, and user interface design
• Comfortable working in a global context with multiple brands and stakeholders
• Fluent in English (Swedish is a plus)
